The new and innovative Carrera Wireless 2.0 system revolutionizes the car racing experience and offers a range of exciting benefits for car racing enthusiasts. With a high range of up to 15 meters, the Wireless 2.0 system uses 2.4 GHz radio technology to ensure a stable connection and therefore unrestricted freedom of movement on the race track without having to worry about interruptions.
This Wireless 2.0 system is powered by standard AAA 1.5 V batteries or rechargeable AAA 1.5 V batteries (not included).
Note on the compatibility of Carrera Wireless 2.0 with the previous one 2.4 GHz Wireless+ system or wired controlers:
Wireless 2.0 hand controllers can only be operated with the Wireless 2.0 receiver, correspondingly the previous Wireless+ hand controllers only work with Wireless+ receivers. You can use both a Wireless 2.0 receiver 20010122 and a Wireless+ receiver 20010112 in the Control Unit in order to run both of these wireless systems. When doing this, please make sure the cars are only assigned to 1 position and the channels on the controllers are all set to independent numbers (1-6).
