Bowser HO Scale ready-to-run GMD SD40-2W diesels are based on the SD40-2 diesels built for Canadian National during the 1970s which incorporate the North American Safety Cab. The Bowser Executive Line model features accurate, railroad-specific and era-specific body variations, applied details and a smooth-running drive with can motor, flywheels, nickel silver wheels with RP25 flanges and knuckle couplers. This GMD SD40-2W locomotive features an ESU LokSound V5 sound and DCC decoder and can operated on DCC and DC (with limited sound features) layouts.
