This two-in-one model includes a stand styled to resemble the surface of the Death Star. Inside the stand, a motor-powered swing mechanism recreates the X-Wing’s maneuvering, as seen in the original Star Wars™ film. The fighter and stand connect and detach with a magnet. Several movable features bring excitement and realism: the cockpit canopy opens, front and rear landing gear can be removed, a button styled as R2-D2 atop the fuselage opens a lower hatch, but the main mechanical feature are the S-foils that open and lock into attack position. Model is powered by three AA batteries or via a USB Type-C connection (batteries and USB connector not included).
Luke Skywalker’s™ X-Wing Fighter™ is compatible with the TIE Fighter™ model from the Ugears official Star Wars™ collection—these can be joined together using included connectors. Combined, they create a larger Death Star surface area, putting you right into the action of the climactic Trench Run scene from the original Star Wars™ film.
