The PLAAF Y-20, codenamed Kunpeng, is the latest transport aircraft in service with the PLAAF. Like the U.S. C-17 and Russian IL-76, it’s a heavy transport aircraft. This advanced aircraft developed by China has a larger payload than the IL-76 and it’s more spacious than the C-17. A number of Y-20s have entered military service with the PLAAF.
