Switch on the power and go! That's all there is to it with the TQ™ 2.4 GHz radio system. There are no frequencies to manage, so the focus is on having fun. Race multiple boats side by side without interference. The TQ's advanced programming provides long-range control with smooth, glitch-free performance. The TQ's ergonomic design is comfortable for all day boating with an internal antenna that is impervious to damage.
Blast includes a powerful 7.2 volt 3000 mAh Traxxas Power Cell rechargeable NiMH battery and two chargers for maximum convenience. Charge in the field with the included 12-volt peak-detecting fast charger or the included 4-amp 45+ watt USB-C battery charger with iD® technology. Power adapter and cable sold separately. For maximum charge rate use Traxxas 2912 45-watt power adapter and 2916 100-watt power cable. The Traxxas iD system is the easiest and safest way to charge your Traxxas batteries. The charger automatically recognizes the iD battery and optimizes the charge settings as soon as you plug it in. There’s no guesswork involved, just fast, reliable charging every time.
Blast is fully-assembled and ready-to-run with the radio system and electronic speed control installed. You'll be challenged by the waves, not an assembly manual. Blast's colorful decals are pre-applied at the factory to get you out on the water and having fun, fast!

A patented sealed receiver box is another Traxxas innovation that puts Blast in a league of its own. The antenna and servo wires route neatly through a special water-tight seal. A custom blue O-ring seals the receiver box to protect the receiver from water. The receiver can be removed for service and aftermarket receivers can be installed without losing the sealing properties of the box.
Fast 4-amp charging is available virtually anywhere thanks to the included 45+ watt USB-C battery charger with iD® technology. The Traxxas iD system is the easiest and safest way to charge your Traxxas batteries. The charger automatically recognizes the iD battery and optimizes the charge settings as soon as you plug it in. There’s no guesswork involved, just fast, reliable charging every time.
The Nautica electronic speed control comes equipped with a patented Traxxas High-Current Connector. Designed to handle high-current applications, Traxxas Connectors effortlessly funnel the battery's total power to the electronics keeping things running cool and at full capacity.
Blast includes a 4-amp peak detecting charger for quick, convenient, hassle-free charging. The charger uses a 12-volt DC power outlet for charging the the field. The brilliant LED provides charging status while the battery charges. The peak-detecting charger is optimized to charge Traxxas Power Cell NiMH battery packs. Just plug the included Power Cell battery in for a perfect charge, run after run.
The waterproof steering servo (2056) uses O-ring seals to keep the fun going when things get wet. The high-torque servo provides the muscle needed to turn the surface-piercing propeller with incredible precision and speed.
The Blast is the perfect size for exciting action in large swimming pools.
The steerable outdrive directs the thrust from the propeller for instant steering response and superior control. The adjustable outdrive features the ability to change the propeller trim angle to precisely tune the Blast for optimum performance.
The Blast features professional factory assembly by Traxxas experts. Everything, including the radio system, is installed and Ready-To-Race®. All that's left for you to do is charge and install transmitter batteries (not included). It's easy!
