An iconic car like the Ford RS200 requires a detailed replica body with clean flowing lines. Traxxas clipless technology holds the RS200 body tightly to the chassis with a reassuring snap to let you know it’s secure. Molded side mirrors and air scoops attach to the internal frame for extra strength and rigidity.
Mini Rally VXL wears new high-traction rally tires for outstanding grip on pavement and dirt. Internal reinforcing ribs replace conventional tire foams for more consistent and longer lasting tread support. Mounted to new 8-spoke rally-inspired wheels, the tires feature aggressive tread blocks for exceptional bite on loose surfaces.
The tires on Mini Rally VXL are unique with densely packed biting edges and sipes for maximum traction on loose surfaces. Internal reinforcing ribs eliminate conventional foam inserts that can absorb water and upset the balance. A softer compound rear tire helps balance the handling for greater control.
Mini Rally VXL’s interlocking skid plates fit tightly together to form a smooth, snag-free undertray. They’re also quick and easy to replace as wear builds up so there’s no need to hold back.
A reinforced front splitter acts as a hidden bumper to align the body and add extra rigidity to the front of the car. A strong rear bumper hides under the body for extra impact resistance. Tough side skirts attach directly to the inner cage to hold the body firmly in place.
Mini Rally VXL uses the same full-size oil-filled Ultra Shocks found on Traxxas’ 1/10 scale vehicles for truly bottomless suspension travel. The Ultra Shocks’ large oil capacity and rugged design soaks up uneven pavement and off-road abuse for smooth driving performance. They are easy to tune with a wide range of available oils, springs, and pistons.
A fixed gear mesh system with preset positions improves precision and eliminates the guesswork involved with setting gear mesh. Insert the motor screw through the desired gearing position for a perfect gear mesh every time. The fixed positioning also keeps the gear mesh tight, even after the harshest impacts.

In the event of signal loss due to an accidental transmitter switch-off or depleted batteries, the receiver automatically returns the throttle to neutral and holds the last commanded steering position. The fail-safe programming is conveniently built-in and does not need to be activated.
Mini Rally VXL’s full-size 2075X metal-gear steering servo uses dual bellcranks for zero bump steer geometry and high-speed steering precision. Oversize components and double-shear connections make Mini Rally VXL unbelievably tough with a cam operated servo saver for added protection against impacts.
Mini Rally VXL uses narrow suspension arms for a true-to-scale footprint and realistic rally car handling. The double-wishbone design maintains proper suspension geometry throughout the entire range of travel. Their double-shear connections and beefy construction maximize strength and durability.
Hex-drive hardware provides a more positive and secure connection than other fasteners. The black-oxide coating provides a rust resistant high-tech look and feel.

Mini Rally VXL is engineered for Velineon 3s power right from the start with huge 32-pitch pinion and spur gears. Normally found in much larger 4X4 vehicles, 32-pitch gears deliver total reliability no matter how much brushless power you pour on.
Mini Rally VXL's sealed center differential absorbs driveline shocks to improve driveline durability and allow performance tuning. The sealed differential comes pre-loaded with thick silicone oil to help prevent unloading of the front tires for rock-steady power delivery.
Mini Rally VXL’s driveshafts are 50% larger than standard 1/16 scale driveshafts for hard launches with big 3s Velineon brushless horsepower. The oversized telescoping half shafts allow the WideMaxx suspension arms to articulate fully without binding to keep constant power flowing to the wheels.
Mini Rally VXL’s differentials are nearly twice the size of standard 1/16 scale differentials for bombproof durability. The sealed design allows you to tune the amount of locking action by varying the viscosity of the fluid inside the differentials.
