Slash comes outfitted with factory-installed Extreme Heavy-Duty suspension components for ultimate strength and durability. The rear axle carriers, C-hubs, and steering blocks are beefed up with more material and stronger construction.
Slash’s tough clipless body holds firm no matter how rough the action gets. Heavy-duty latches grip the body tightly, but release in just seconds to access the chassis. Slash’s hidden latching system replaces time-consuming and inconvenient body clips with large reinforced panels to resist pull-through damage.
Slash includes a powerful 8.4-volt 3000 mAh Traxxas Power Cell rechargeable NiMH battery pack to reach top speed. Fast 4-amp charging is available virtually anywhere thanks to the included 45+ watt USB-C battery charger with iD® technology.
The large 550-size Titan® motor delivers dirt-roosting torque and lightning-quick acceleration. The integrated cooling fan lowers running temperatures for more fun behind the wheel. The Titan 12T requires very little maintenance and provides consistent performance run-after-run.
Slash’s oil-filled Ultra Shocks utilize X-ring technology for a perfect seal and super-smooth performance. They are fully tunable with a wide range of oils, springs, and pistons. Features include pressure bladders for air/oil separation and spring clips to precisely change the ride height and spring pre-load. They can be renewed in minutes with our inexpensive rebuild kits.
Tough integrated nerf bars offer side chassis protection against the fender-to-fender impacts of track competition and backyard bashing.
The waterproof XL-5™ electronic speed control packs powerful safety and convenience features like three separate drive profiles, low-voltage detection for LiPo batteries, and Thermal Shutdown Protection to prevent overheating. Traxxas' patented Training Mode™ reduces power by 50%, making it easier for new drivers to develop their control skills before unleashing full-power.
Slash’s long 13.2″ wheelbase chassis provides superior stability on high-speed straights with over 3.5 inches of ground clearance to prevent bottoming out. The chassis includes drain holes and a battery tray channel for routing servo wires to the receiver.
A race truck needs a powerful steering servo for responsive performance. The Traxxas 2075 waterproof digital high-torque servo provides precise steering authority and speed for wheel-to-wheel racing in the backyard or on the track.
Slash’s patented sealed receiver box gives you the freedom to drive where you want, when you want. The antenna and servo wires route neatly through a special water-tight seal. A blue O-ring seals the receiver box to protect the receiver from water.
Slash’s innovative battery tray accommodates both flat and “hump” pack NiMH batteries. The extended tray allows the battery packs to be positioned forward or backward for front/rear weight bias tuning. An optional battery expander kit (sold separately) is available for use with oversize batteries.
The TQ’s advanced programming provides long-range control with smooth, glitch-free performance. 2.4 GHz technology allows you to race multiple vehicles side by side without interference. Slash’s BFGoodrich® Mud Terrain T/A® tires have excellent grip in the dirt and just the right amount of slide on pavement. Their authentic scale appearance and realistic performance add to the racing experience. The tires come mounted and pre-glued to black dual-profile SCT wheels.
Slash’s high-performance bellcrank steering system minimizes bump steer for precise wheel placement and increased cornering stability.
Heavy duty steel turnbuckles allow trackside camber and toe tuning for greater agility and high-speed performance. Captured rod ends provide unmatched durability and they won’t pop off during a race.

The sealed gearbox protects transmission components from dirt and rocks. The molded motor plate includes finned cooling channels that work in conjunction with the motor’s internal fan to pull air through the motor for superior cooling.
The Magnum 272’s™ all metal gears ride on ultra-smooth sealed ball bearings. The bulletproof Torque-Control™ slipper clutch and metal transmission gears are ready to handle any power system upgrade including the extreme Velineon® brushless power system.
Semi-metallic pads and finned aluminum alloy pressure plates dissipate heat and provide consistent traction. The semi-metallic friction material remains stable across a wide temperature range to provide smooth, linear engagement. Spur gears can be removed and replaced without altering the slipper adjustment.
Rubber-sealed bearings offer the ultimate in super low-friction performance and maximum protection in dusty environments. They are used in all exposed locations on the truck and are virtually maintenance free.
The planetary gear differential uses hardened steel internal gears for maximum strength during rigorous off-road bashing. This type of differential requires virtually no maintenance, and its efficient design puts maximum tire-shredding power to the wheels.
