Slash 4X4’s innovative clipless body features secure mounting with quick and easy removal. No posts, no clips—just drop the body onto the chassis and snap it into place for a secure hold. When it’s time to change the battery, depress the tabs under the wheel wells and lift up to access the chassis in just seconds.
A modular chassis design allows the entire front section to be removed with just 5 screws, and the rear assembly with just 4 screws. In less than a minute using a power screwdriver, you have full access for easy service and adjustment.

Maxx-duty® driveshafts and HD suspension arms, along with upgraded shock towers and outer suspension components, make this is the strongest driveline ever offered in a Slash.
From races at the local track to backyard bash sessions, Slash 4X4 is Ready-To-Race® right out of the box. Slash’s track-bred chassis features an integrated transponder mount and extended battery tray for optimum weight positioning. Slash gives you the winning edge with a fully adjustable steel-link suspension and tunable oil-filled differentials to put the power down smoothly.
Slash 4X4’s tough clipless body holds firm no matter how rough the action gets. Heavy-duty latches grip the body tightly, but release in just seconds to access the chassis. Slash’s hidden latching system replaces time-consuming and inconvenient body clips with large, reinforced panels to resist pull-through damage.
Heavy-duty 4 mm steel turnbuckles are adjustable for trackside camber and toe tuning for greater agility and high-speed performance. Captured rod ends provide unmatched durability and they won't pop off in a race.
Slash 4X4's oil-filled Ultra Shocks utilize X-rings for a perfect seal and super-smooth performance. Adjust the ride height and pre-load on the white powder-coated progressive springs with the included spacer clips. Ultra Shocks are fully tunable with a wide range of oils, springs, and pistons available.
A long 12.75″ wheelbase chassis increases Slash 4X4's high-speed stability and straight-line performance. The interlocking modular chassis is smooth on the bottom with nearly 3 inches of center ground clearance to avoid snagging and high centering.
Tough integrated chassis nerf bars offer side body support to help absorb the racing impacts of fender-to-fender track competition or backyard bashing.
Slash's fixed gear adapters take the guesswork out of setting your gear mesh with five preset gearing positions. Insert the motor screw through the desired gearing position for a perfect gear mesh every time. The fixed positioning also keeps the gear mesh tight, even after the harshest impacts.
A sensorless Velineon 3500 Kv motor delivers extreme performance with nearly zero maintenance. Ultra high-temperature Neodymium magnets, high-speed bearings, and a precision, 4-pole balanced rotor deliver smooth running and long life.
The waterproof Velineon VXL-3s speed control is packed with technology to deliver maximum power. Large heat sink, integrated on/off switch, and three programmable drive profiles top the feature list. Two-stage low voltage detection allows full LiPo compatibility, including powerful 11.1-volt 3s LiPo packs!
Slash 4X4 has huge amounts of seemingly bottomless, ultra-plush suspension travel to swallow up jumps and delivers incredible rough-track control. Performance-optimized suspension components provide maximum articulation without binding or interference.
A waterproof receiver box keeps Slash 4X4's receiver safe and dry while still allowing easy access for maintenance. The antenna and servo wires route neatly through a patented water-tight seal for true all-weather fun.
Integrated telemetry ports in the receiver transmit real-time data to the TQi transmitter when using the Traxxas Link™ App and telemetry sensors (sold separately). In the event of signal loss, the receiver automatically returns the throttle to neutral and holds the last steering position.
Slash 4X4 VXL’s extreme speed and quick reflexes require a steering servo that’s both strong and fast. The included digital high-speed, high-torque servo features ball bearings for precise control and quick reflexes.
Slash 4X4's BFGoodrich® tires have excellent grip in the dirt and just the right amount of slide on pavement. Their authentic scale appearance and realistic performance add to the racing experience. The tires come mounted and pre-glued to 2.2″ replica short course wheels.
The patented High-Current Connectors funnel maximum power to the vehicle’s electronics. High-Current Connectors also provide the quickest, safest charge for Traxxas batteries.
Slash 4X4’s adjustable battery hold-down accommodates a wide variety of batteries from NiMH packs to powerful 3-cell LiPo batteries. The extended battery tray allows the packs to be positioned forward or backward for front/rear weight bias tuning. An optional battery expander kit (sold separately) is available for use with oversize batteries.

Sealed front and rear differentials utilize steel-gear internals for maximum durability. Silicone gaskets and X-ring seals allow you to tune the amount of locking action by varying the viscosity of the fluid inside the differentials.
