Traxxas set a new standard for RC monster trucks with the release of the original X-Maxx. Since then, X-Maxx has only grown stronger and more powerful with each generation. The new X-Monster Chassis incorporates the latest and greatest X-Truck® upgrades to create the strongest chassis and driveline ever offered.

Terra Groove chevron-pattern monster truck tires give the X-Monster Chassis a livelier feel with improved grip and greater control. The huge 8.6” tires are made from an ultra-soft compound for incredible traction with internal belting to reduce ballooning. Replica white monster truck wheels feature military-style hubs for an authentic scale appearance.

Pair the X-Monster Chassis with a replica Ford® F-150®, Chevrolet® C/K, or BIGFOOT® No. 8 body (sold separately). Each body features a full-length reinforced body cage for maximum rigidity. Already have a custom-painted X-Maxx body? The X-Monster Chassis also accepts existing X-Maxx clipless bodies!

Huge 8.6” chevron-pattern tires give the X-Monster Chassis its unique handling characteristics. A belted carcass limits ballooning, allowing the tires to be extra soft for better grip. The ultra-soft rubber compound conforms to rough surfaces for excellent traction with deep grooves that dig into loose sand, gravel, and mud. On pavement, the tires slide just enough to reduce rollovers while still providing responsive handling.

The X-Monster Chassis’ heavy-duty suspension arms offer just enough flex to help avoid breaking, even in cold weather. Double-shear connections at all mounting points offer incredible strength. Captured lower hinge pins at the outer joints now feature locknuts to hold them securely in place.

The X-Monster Chassis can be optioned with one of several accessory replica bodies (sold separately). Extra body reinforcements hold the body securely to the full-length inner cage to help prevent pull-through damage. The X-Monster Chassis also accommodates existing X-Maxx bodies with no modifications required.

The X-Monster Chassis rolls on the largest tires ever outfitted to an X-Truck, so a powerful steering servo was an absolute necessity. With 450 oz-in of torque, the 2085XL metal-gear servo has extra power on tap for extreme driving on any surface.

The X-Monster body cage features bosses to mount the same high-visibility whip lights used on the Funco® Pro Scale® Replica (10992). These colorful lights rise over 10 inches for improved visibility when storming across the horizon. Flex-Tech™ spring-loaded mounts allow the lights to bend without breaking.

Bright chrome bumpers give the X-Monster Chassis an authentic monster truck appearance while still providing tough impact protection. An energy-absorbing cushion behind the front bumper helps to soften frontal blows and make the X-Monster Chassis even more durable.

The X-Monster Chassis uses the beefed-up rear differential output yokes designed for the 2WD Funco® Pro Scale® Replica. Additional steel makes these the strongest output yokes ever fitted to X-Maxx.
