Once a driver initiates a drift, TSM Drift Mode interprets their inputs and seamlessly applies just enough steering and throttle assistance to maintain the intended drift angle. The out-of-the-box settings are tuned to accommodate the widest range of drivers and surfaces. It is not recommended to adjust these settings until the driver becomes familiar with the car. As driving skill increases, TSM Drift settings offer innovative new tuning for different surface conditions and driving styles.
This slider controls how much steering angle the driver can input with the steering wheel. Out of the box this control is set to 50% using the Multi-Function knob on the transmitter. The 50% setting helps prevent drivers that are new to drifting from overturning the wheels and causing an extreme push condition. Steering angle can also be adjusted in the Traxxas Link app.
TSM Mode maintains the same settings as TSM Drift Mode for Steering Angle and Steering Reflex but removes all throttle assistance. This mode works well for drivers wanting to hone their throttle control skills. Spinout Assist and Throttle Reflex are not available in this mode.

Gyro Mode mimics the steering assistance provided by a traditional gyro for drivers who prefer that style of drifting. In this setting Steering Angle works the same as other modes, but there is no throttle assistance available. The gyro gain is fully adjustable from 0-100% to suit an individual driver’s style.

4-Tec Drift's rear spool features 48-pitch gears with a 5° spiral cut to reduce backlash for smooth, quiet running.

With 21 turns of pure copper wire, the new Titan Drift motor delivers smooth, predictable power at any RPM to initiate a slide with the blip of the throttle. An internal fan routes cooling air through the can for longer run times and lower temperatures.
The XL-5 electronic speed control balances high power output with the precise control required for mid-corner adjustments. The XL-5 is completely waterproof with three drive modes, low voltage detection, thermal shutdown protection, and 2-cell LiPo compatibility.
4-Tec Drift's high-tech chassis keeps weight positioned as low as possible for a crisp, responsive feel. Three interlocking modules provide unprecedented rigidity and tight tolerances with a completely smooth undertray to eliminate snags. Not only is the chassis stiffer and more responsive, it’s also easy to disassemble.
In the event of signal loss due to an accidental transmitter switch-off or depleted batteries, the receiver automatically returns the throttle to neutral and holds the last commanded steering position. The fail-safe programming is conveniently built-in and does not need to be activated.
A quick-release, dual-height battery mount accommodates a wide range of batteries including long format NiMH and 2-cell LiPo battery packs.
A sealed receiver box gives you the freedom to practice your drifting skills regardless of the weather. The antenna and servo wires route neatly through a patented watertight seal. A blue O-ring seals the receiver box to protect the receiver from water.
A high-performance chassis needs a precise steering servo for responsive performance and Traxxas delivers with the digital 2075 servo. This waterproof steering servo uses O-ring seals to keep the fun going when things get wet. Waterproof for all-weather action, the 2075 provides 125 oz-in of steering muscle.
4-Tec Drift uses high-grade metric hex-drive hardware throughout for extra strength and easy maintenance. The black oxide rust-resistant finish provides a high-tech look and feel.

High-Performance Suspension Adjustments
4-Tec Drift gives drivers complete customization to tune their vehicles for any driving style or track surface with a fully adjustable suspension. All-new front suspension arms adjust for width to increase the front track. The suspension also includes adjustments for caster, roll center, ackerman, droop, toe, and bump steer.
Rubber-sealed bearings offer the ultimate in super low-friction performance and maximum protection in dusty environments. They are used in all exposed locations on the truck and are virtually maintenance free.
Locking tabs hold the body tightly to the chassis with an audible snap to signal they’re secure. The self-energizing locking tabs stay locked until you release them. This hidden latching system maximizes convenience and scale realism by removing traditional body clips which would interrupt the body’s clean lines.
