The modes can be controlled via button or an extra channel from the transmitter. Plug the light bar into an unused channel, then switch that channel from one endpoint to the other (and back depending at what end you started) and this will cycle the light bar through the modes

This light bar has 4 modes:

1. On
2. Multi (repeats cycle from fade, flash, dim)
3. Strobe
4. Off
