Look around... everyone is disguised as a Muggle — including you! Some of you are Death Eaters, and some of you are the witches and wizards of Dumbledore’s Army. There will be day and night cycles alternating throughout the game. During the daytime, it’s up to you to find out who’s who! Report Death Eaters to the Minister of Magic, and try to protect each other — because every night, the Death Eaters will take someone away! Will the Death Eaters capture you all, or will Dumbledore's Army outsmart them?
Harry Potter Reveal the Death Eaters can be played with 8-29 players making it perfect for parties! Players will select a Game Tile to learn their character's identity but must keep it a secret. Will you be one of the Death Eaters or a witch or wizard in Dumbledore's Army?
One player is chosen as the Narrator and represents the Minister of Magic, guiding players through the game and dictating day and night cycles. During the night, players will close their eyes or put their heads down, and the Death Eaters will wake up to silently choose someone to capture. During the daytime, players awaken to find out who was captured and to discuss and vote on who they think is the Death Eater.
Some characters have special abilities to help their team, but only they will know their true identity. There are no restrictions on speech during the day, so players can misdirect or lie about who they are as they try to convince players to choose someone to send to Azkaban. No identities will be revealed until the game is over.
Dumbledore's Army wins if they send all Death Eaters to Azkaban. The Death Eaters win if the players left in the game on both teams become equal (for example, two Death Eaters and two Dumbledore's Army). Will you outsmart your opponents?
