Mini 4WD cars are moving yet realistic car models in 1/32 scale. Designer Kota Nezu has an affinity for this Tamiya value and has pursued Mini 4WD car designs which are suitable not only for Mini 4WD but also for full size cars: his first Mini 4WD car design was the Astralster in 2013, followed by the Raikiri and Eleglitter. Now, we welcome a new 4WD car penned by his hand; this time, the Raizzan which features a monocoque frame and removable body panels inspired by high-end sports cars. The low and wide body provides superior aerodynamics via air intakes and outlets. Its sharp headlights draw inspiration from birds of prey such as the peregrine falcon and the eagle, and the car should catch the eye with its sharp design cues around front and rear lights, and fenders which look like a bird with spread wings. The Raizzan name is inspired by a legendary sword that appears in Japanese mythology. This kit features a design motif which would make a superb full-size car and opens the door to endless possibilities for Mini 4WD.

ME Chassis

The ME is the third double shaft motor chassis after the MS and MA, and its initials are derived from its "Midship Evolution" concept. Lightweight, flexible and easy to get started with, its outstanding combination of rigidity and flex ensures a fluid drive, while the ease of assembly is very much in the vein of the MA chassis. The chassis and its A parts are molded in lightweight, tough ABS resin, and low-friction plastic bearings ensure efficient drive. Its bumpers are separately molded, and the chassis has a speedy 3.5:1 gear ratio.

New ME chassis features

• The ME chassis is a compact, lightweight and efficient design powered by a double-shaft motor in the center. About the same weight as FM-A and MS chassis
• A-parts are lightweight ABS plastic, which makes the model lighter.
• Plastic bearings are P parts from the VZ chassis for efficient drive.
• An outstanding combination of rigidity and flex ensures the ME gives a fluid drive.
• Front and rear bumpers are screw-attached and can be removed when customizing or displaying the car.
• Solid motor attachment ensures minimal drive loss.
• Includes a type 130 double-shaft motor. The model features a 3.5:1 gear ratio.

About the kit

• Mini 4WD model assembly kit. Length: 156mm, width: 97mm, height: 40mm.
• The ME chassis is molded in black ABS plastic and paired with black ABS plastic A parts.
• The low and wide body molded in tinted smoke color ABS plastic provides superior aerodynamics via air intakes and outlets.
• Detachable fender and cowling parts are molded in red ABS plastic.
• Newly designed T-spoke wheels (gold color) are paired with small diameter low-profile tires (black).
• Separately sold figures can be installed when the model has an open top.
• Two AA batteries are needed (sold separately).
