This is an assembly kit for an electric radio-controlled buggy that employs a shaft-driven 4WD. The Plasma Edge II Gunmetal has a wedge-shaped polycarbonate body and large rear wing that exerts downforce over the entire body, painted in gunmetal and pre-cut. Simply stick on some stickers with a checkered flag or V-shaped graphics on the nose to complete the fearless body. In addition, the black-colored CVA dampers tighten up the feet, and the bright fluorescent yellow star dish wheels are also noteworthy. The chassis is the TT-02B, a shaft-driven 4WD that is easy to assemble and has excellent controllability and rough-road performance.
The TT-02B basic buggy chassis uses a bathtub-type main frame with a boat-shaped bottom that provides a skid effect. The 4-wheel independent double wishbone suspension is equipped with long arms and black CVA oil dampers. Not only does it have excellent road holding, but it also has the same suspension arms and uprights on both sides, making it easy to assemble. The front and rear sealed gear cases have smooth differential 4-bevel type resin differential gears built in. The top of the gear case can be removed by loosening just a few screws, making maintenance easy. In addition, by using three types of pinion gears (sold separately), you can select from four different gear ratios in combination with the standard pinion gear, allowing you to set it according to your motor and road conditions. It also comes equipped with a receiver case and motor cover to protect against dust, which are essential for off-road driving, and increase the reliability of the car.
